When members of our parish are sick or find it difficult to attend Mass on a regular basis because of age, one of the greatest risks they face is the feeling of isolation and loneliness. Ironically, this is a time when they need a connection to their faith the most.
If you or someone you know moved into senior housing or a skilled nursing facility, please let us know so that we can stay connected. If you or someone you know would like to arrange for a visit from a priest or one of our trained volunteers for the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, or for Holy Communion to be provided, please let us know that as well.
Currently, we provide Holy Communion and/or celebrate regular Mass at St. John’s Home, Episcopal Church Home, and Highland Hospital. We also provide support to those in need in our parish and neighborhood by sending cards during the holidays, providing prayer shawls, delivering Christmas poinsettias to nursing homes or to those who are home bound.
We are always interested in having new volunteers join our outreach efforts. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the parish office at 585-271-7240 or use the contact form below.
